LOGAN, Utah- Get In On the Secret!
Yesterday (April 9, 2008) I saw Bill and Melinda Gates, and Ted Turner getting off a private jet that flew that landed in Africa. This group of influential people were meeting with African officals for reportedly a secret philanthropic endeavor.
The Bill and Melinda Gates fondation has given aid to many indivduals as they are founded upon: The Foundation's work begins with Bill and Melinda Gates’s belief that all lives have equal value. We think all people deserve the chance to have healthy, productive lives. We have been developing a process that helps us decide how to spend our time, effort, and money so we can accomplish that goal for as many people as possible. This process helps us choose the issues we will work on and the groups to which we will make grants. After interviewing African Mayor Malik OK, I found that they will be focusing on African Children with issues of disease and santintary education. Wanting to get rid of diseases such as miseales, small pox, and HIV education and basic sanitary needs. "The main thing we want to focus on is the actual TEACHING part, i guess we would be teaching them how to fish instead of giving them a fish. We want the African people to be ok when we leave" , said Bill. Warner Buffet is involved passively as he is just giving of his money, but Ted Turner is the one who contacted us as he said that he could be more effective accomplsihing his goals with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He is very actively involved as he wants to see where is money is going" said Bill. These are just some of the grants that have been made this past year.

Wow, that was very well written. I especially appreciated the bullets at the end highlighting major contributions by the partners.

You really improved your article with the extra credit story! It was full of more detail, and was clearer. I am impressed by the list of contributions made by Turner that you compiled, and how you organized this list. You did really well. Just a couple of punctuation errors.

Your extra credit story was great, way to add some addititional info. The begining of the second paragraph for me was a little confusing, but over all you did a great job.
