Jcom 2160- reading 1

This reading was mainly about online etiquette rules. The first reading was about e mail, talked about many companies ansewering emails late or not even replying at all. Training employees on what, and what not to write is a big deal. A company needs to implement these rules for three reasons: Professionalism: by using proper email language your company will convey a professional image. Efficiency: emails that get to the point are much more effective than poorly worded emails. Protection from liability: employee awareness of email risks will protect your company from costly law suits.
I think these are very valid points and that every company who implements them will benefit.

What about personal emails? Sincerely, don't you despise those span emails that clog your email with the save the (insert cause here).

I think people should be accountable whether they are part of a company or not.
