On January 31, 2008 a burglary occurred on the 9th N. and 16th E. in Logan, Utah.
This is a location of one of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting house’s.
During the early hours of the morning police believe two people broke into the
church through an open window. Deputy Jeoffrey Hasty said that there had to be two
people involved because the location of the open window was to high for just one person to get in.. “I believe that one person helped the other into the window and then went and opened the door for the other person”.
Bishop Lawarance ( Larry) Shirk was at the church until about 11:00 p.m. he said “it had been hailing and raining that night so I opened my window to get some fresh air, and than forgot to shut it”. The window that was left open, lead to the Larry’s office which had two PCU’s that were stolen. Nothing else was taken from the church and no vandalism was performed.
