Recently there has been an event at USU that has caused a lot of news media. I have been contacted by a lot of media here in Logan and have also been advised on what to do in a situation like this one.
Refer any media to representatives responsible for handling the media. If you do choose to comment make it brief and clear. If you don't want to comment at all it is ok to say "No comment". Also, to be prepared if you know something is going on, don't ignore the fact that you might be questioned.
For a work promotion recently the "Valley Channel" came and interviewed me and did a feature story on "Locker 42" a store here in Logan that I work at.
It was definitely a surprise, so I didn't have much time to prepare any statements. I guess that says always be prepared! It went really well, I just showed them around the store, highlighting our new items in the store and gave many gift ideas. It was a lot of fun!
