I am on the Utah State's Dance Company and recently we got done with our annual "Diversity Week" performance. Every year we put on this dance show usually on the Thrusday of Diversity Week. We invite all the dance groups and clubs on campus to come and perform. The show usually lasts about an hour and a half. The members of "Full Circle" the dance company, had to pretty much put together a media kit to get it advertised and pulled off. Fliers and posters were made and passed out, I made shirts to help advertise and plug ins from the Statesman helped as well. The show was sold out, it was a great experience!
I am putting together a Public Relations portfolio for Preston's Jcom class and it has really put prespective on how much work and preparation it takes to have a good portfolio. I really need to work hard next semester getting worthly items into my portfolio.
