ONLY ONE COMPANY LIKE THIS IN ALL OF CACHE VALLEY
Learn true Financial Independence from Cache Valley Area Investors Association.
LOGAN, UT- Cache Valley Area Investors Association is a Non-Profit Organization that started in July 2007. The Organizations main goal is to teach people how to be financially independent.

President Preston Parker says, “The goal is to get your passive income to surpass your expenses.” Passive Income, which include: investments, gifts, basically no thought required to earn money. Active (earned) Income- devoting thought to earn money.

When all your expenses are paid by your income, you don’t have to worry about anything. Parker says that “One of biggest cankers in American history is people hating their jobs.” People will no longer have to go to their hated job because they have to; they will go to their job because they want to. You do not have to worry about a job because of the money; you worry about the job because it is something you care about.

If you quit going to your job every day, how long will you last? Most people it is only six months, because there expenses are so high. If you keep your expenses low and your Passive Income high that is true financial independence.
This is the very concept that Parker and Cache Valley Area Investors Association are trying to implement. “Very few of us out there are giving this money information away for free. I know of three in Utah. We are trying to get the word out for people to get educated.”

You might ask why? What is in it for him? When asked that question by a reporter Preston said “You come to a point when your financial independence is so high that there just aren’t that many individuals out there that are up at that level with you. If I wanted to, I would like to find someone that can invest a high amount of money for a project I was working on.”

Cache Valley Area Investors Association meet every other Thursday at the Chamber of Commerce, 160 North Main St. at 7 p.m.. Web-site is: www.cvaia.com . Everyone is welcome to attend.

PR 2300 blog #2

I read on Prsa.com an article by Joseph DeRupo. He talked about Arthur Yann joining the organization of The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Yann says that he will not only strengthen PRSA's efforts to pull for the public relations industry but he will help there professionals through, thought, leadership and public discourse.
He will make sure that the topics covered are ones that will give insight to the company, make sure there are relevant topics, and help create a broader understanding of public relations’ and the role, and value as a business tool.

Joseph wants to work closely with PRSA President and Chief Operating Officer William Murray. He wants to do this because it will help support the achievement of key organizational goals in all Society's through 2008 to 2010. He plans to have a strategic plan which will maximize memeber value, get interactive dialogue and create a more diverse global society.

PR 2300

Blog #1
I recently read the PR blog of a Mr. Barbera who lives in California and was explaining his great appreciation for Robert French who has organized the Auburn PR Blog, but has taken it to different levels with the creation of PRblogs.org.

Robert has partnered with James Farmer and together they have built a PR blogging community that is offered to all people. Now not only students, but PR practitoners and educators can use this and benefit from this organization.

The purpose of PRblogs.org is to provide a service that (a) allows for experimentation with the medium, (b) a community that discusses the implications of blogs in PR and (c) to help bridge the PR education and practitioner communities.

I was really impressed by Mr. Barbera's blog post because you could tell he had a passion for what he was writing about and that he had a great appreciation to Robert French and James Farmer. I also liked that he is getting this information out to all PR students and professionals so they can benefit from this as well.

PR 2300

After reading on the website about PRSA it is very clear that there are some guidelines every journalist needs to follow.
The web-site states that each indivdual should follow his or her own high standards and keep a professional outlook in the work place. PRSA says that the subject of professional ethics is an individual matter. By saying this they mean that every individual in the work place should step it up and take upon themselves a high standard of work. I completely agree with this, I feel like every individual should follow this in or out of the work place.
A quality employee is one that will work and work until there performance is mad e perfect. A beginner or even advanaced employee can't expect his or her work to be perfect on the very first draft.
The PRSA also talks about a personal "moral compass." This is the encouragement to ask questions, learn for yourself, seek out help, and look at your options and identify what should be the apporiate behavior. When you follow the "moral compass" you can be assured taht things will be done fairly.
The new code values empasizes things like being honest, having indepence, expertise, and loyalty. As a public relations professional it is our job to make sure things are presented in a clear, precise way so the client can see the vision and what the outline will be. We also have to be honest and give the information in the best possible way.
PRSA gave a lot of great information that I think not only journalists should follow but all kinds of peeople in and out of the work force.

Final Press Release 1 : Annoucement

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sept. 8, 2008
ABC Real Estate LLC
President Preston Parker

LOOKING TO INVEST?
ABC Real Estate, a new company here in Logan is looking for investors, buyers, and individuals with good credit. President Preston Parker explained about his new company and how much it differs from most. He says that ABC Real Estate uses a unique plan that no one else in Logan has.
This Nationwide Company, invented by Bill Gaten (landtrust.net), uses the Beneificary- Directed- Land Trust System which helps people that would otherwise not qualify for a home, qualify.
Most people need to be able to make a down payment with at least 3% interest, have a FICO of above 680 and low debt to income ratio. For most college students or young couples in Logan this is impossible. That is why ABC Real Estate is so valuable. “For the residents it allows them to own a home and get the tax deductions instead of just paying rent,” said Parker.
Parker says that Logan is the best place for a business like this because of the main reason being that “In over 30 years there hasn’t been a fore-closed home.” Also Logan is a place that has a high ratio for home owners and a high buyer mentality.
ABC Real Estate was founded in Jan. of 2008 and hopes to stay around for much longer as it teaches people how to use there system.

Dear Cousin

Dear Cousin Shally,

As the new academic school year has arrived I have made some pretty important decisions for my future. The main one is the decision of what my major should be. I am very excited and intrigued about my major, while at the same time I realize I have a lot to learn. I have chosen to major in the field of journalism, with an emphasis in public relations. I realize that you aren’t very familiar with my area of choice, which gives me the opportunity to explain what public relations is all about.

Public relations mainly focuses on managing information between a company, organization, or people. public relations, (PR) is a different form of marketing as one of the main ways PR professionals are successful and have “a way in”, is through the strong relationships they make with many indivdiuals they come in contact with. Some of the activities that go along with PR are working with the press and writng different kinds of press releases, public speaking, and knowing how to tactfully deal with good press and bad press for clients being represented.

The main part of PR that pulls me in and makes me want to make a career out of it, is the ability I will have to improve, start or change any company or organization that I choose. After being trained I will have the knowledge of knowing how to work with the press, write, public speak. I am very excited for the decision I have made and look forward to getting my foot into the major.
Thanks for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Brittany Clark
