LOGAN, Utah Liberty Homes a home building company in Salt Lake City, gives more than just homes, they also fulfill children’s dreams.
For three years Liberty Homes has built homes for the annual Home Show, held in Salt Lake City, and held by the Home Show Association of Greater Salt Lake. Founder and President Dave Clark says “Liberty Homes takes pride in building a quality home for the best value, we also find it very important to give back to our community. One way we do this is through the Make a Wish Organization.”
After building a home for the Home Show, inside there is a whole room dedicated for a child and their wish. Just this past summer of 2008, Liberty Homes granted a girl named Sydney Hess, her wish. Sydney is 15 years old and has had her rare form of cancer for about a year now. Sydney’s wish was that she wanted to ride a horse on the beach. Sydney’s wish was granted and room was made.
“When walking into Sydney’s room immediately you were to feel like you were on that beach, watching Sydney ride her horse” said Interior Designer Rochelle Clark. Sydney’s room was complete with bamboo, fake grass, a big umbrella, palm tree and pictures all over the room of Sydney riding her horse.
Founder and President, Dave Clark “Feels like it is always good to help someone out in their own problems as it helps me maintain proper prospective in life. I have been given so much that the Make a Wish Organization has allowed me to give a small little something back.”
